March is a grey and gloomy month in Seattle.
I am not sure about you, but I have had it up to HERE with the grey, clouds, brown trees and RAIN...misty rain, spitting rain, monsoon rain, and soak you in two seconds rain! Since, I have yet to fine tune my mother nature skills of producing sunshine, I thought the least I could do was bring a little sunshine into blogland!
I now declare that March is officially a YELLOW month, no more grey!
Also, this is my 100th post, WOOO HOOO!! I can't believe it came so fast. I would like to give away a little sunshine to help celebrate!
Read to the bottom for more info!!
The essence of Spring!
Just so happy! Look, even the caps on the stool are yellow!
Don't you just love yellow, it makes my currently grey world so much brighter!
Now to give away a little SUNSHINE!
In honor of my 100th post, I would like to share a little healthy, yellow, sunshiny glow!!
Did you know that orange oil is a natural anti-depressant??
Does the grey, gloomy Winter/Spring weather have you feeling a little down...ME TOO!
So, I want to give you my favorite sugar & salt shower scrub!
After one lovely shower with Sweet and Smooth your skin will feel smooth and silky soft! Dead surface cells are swept away, reveling new, fresh, moisturized skin! Also, the naturally uplifting essential oil of sweet orange refreshes the skin and your senses!! You will love the way your skin looks and how you feel!

Em you're so gifted with color and design. Always think of how amazing you made your apartment at The Firs. Love love love your declaration of Yellow Month. You've inspired me... I think I'm going to rearrange the wall art and photos so there's more color and brightness in our living room. Must dig around and find some yellow. :-) Love you.
Reading your post cheered me up on this gray day (night)...nothing like a little yellow to brighten up the gloom! I love the painting your dad did for you...what a special gift, and so sweet. Love the little yellow fixture too!
That scrub is one of my favorite products in the whole world...my legs are screaming for it this very moment!
Thanks for the sunshine...

my mom brightens my day.
her philosophy of winter:
december is fun, so it doesn't count as winter. January is the new year so it doesn't count.February is a short month so don't count it either.
march is so close to spring, it doesn't count.April is getting close to sunny all the time so winter is over.
who can't make it through one measly month of winter?
i smile every time:)

I have an old set of kitchen cabinets in my basement that are yellow and original to my 20s home. I have always wanted to paint them cream or black and put them in my dining room. I think maybe I should just keep them yellow after seeing all the cool yellow furniture.
I would love the scrub!! It feels soooo good. Thanks Emily for doing another giveaway : )
Hurray! Another yellow convert!!! They would look so cool in your kitchen. Very fun idea! Hope you win!
