Today Was the Perfect Blend of The Unexpected, Togetherness & Family, Slow & Cozy, Tradition, Fast & Crazy...
Inside: our home was full of laughter, warm and inviting smells, games, shows, and a whole lot of little boy silliness!
Outside: our world was cold, snowy, and transformed into a winter wonderland fit for some good old fashioned snow day fun!
I love days like this, and our day was made so much better when Daddy decided to stay home and play! After a warm bowl of baked oats, yogurt, and fresh fruit we ventured outside for some chilly sledding in the winter wonderland!
My boys had so much fun whipping down the hills, crashing, pushing the limits, romping through the snow, and spending time with Daddy!
I stood by laughing at their silliness, capturing their adventures, and watching their pure joy! This was the best day we have experienced in so very long and I am so thankful for the blessing of being snowed in!

What snow? I am in Queensland Australia and we never get snow...but when the kids were younger what we wouldn't have traded for a 'snow day' when dads could spend the day playing with their kids...you are blessed!
So fun!!! You have the best hill in front of your house for daredevil activities! I'm truly glad you were all able to have this special day together creating such fun memories. That's what snow days are for!!! :)
